My roles and responsibilities fall into both WordPress web developer tasks as well as general IT support for the rest of the team. I \u2764\ufe0f my job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to build upon and strengthen my web development skills and this blog is to keep myself accountable. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Educational to-do list (in no particular order):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Complete a Udemy Course I started \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.udemy.com\/course\/become-a-wordpress-developer-php-javascript\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Become a WordPress Developer: Unlocking Power With Code<\/a>. [[14\/210]]<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete &#8216;Foundations&#8217; and &#8216;Full Stack JavaScript&#8217; Courses on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theodinproject.com\/paths\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Odin Project<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finish&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coursera.org\/google-certificates\/it-support-certificate?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=institutions&amp;utm_campaign=sou--google__med--PMAX__cam--ha-max-en-GEN__geo--CA__con--keyword&amp;gwg_ad_id=GCLID--CjwKCAiApuCrBhAuEiwA8VJ6JuJJ5vK8cLBe2S4TZCJM_vOWP9P5TD5BeBxoxKEGkf4tbvnxTSqJYhoCiE8QAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google IT Support Certification<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/laracasts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn Laravel<\/a>&nbsp;(Sage Root.io starter theme uses Laravel Blade).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen JavaScript skills. There are many tutorials out there but I found I learned a lot already by following along&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AniaKubow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ania Kub\u00f3w<\/a>\u2018s tutorials. If anyone out there has JavaScript tutorial recommendations, feel free to share.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/a.co\/d\/0bPqQ2T\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Professional WordPress Plugin Development<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/a.co\/d\/bvVq4Ix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Building Apps with WordPress<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure I am using Git &amp; Github as I build out WordPress apps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get more comfortable using Linux and using the command line.
